On finishing things
I have started far more than I have finished, and I have finally stopped pretending that is a scheduling problem.

The half-built things are not evidence of a busy life. They are evidence that starting is pleasant and finishing is not.
Finishing means deciding it is done, which means deciding it is as good as it is going to get, which is the part I avoid.
So: fewer starts. Same number of finishes. That is the whole plan.
