WHERE I'VE BEEN_

Mark the countries you have been to and roughly when. You get back a poster with every one pinned, a reel of the route flown in order, and a .json file that rebuilds both next time. Curious where I have been? See my passport.

Notes on this mapprivacy · distances · order

On privacy. Your trips never leave this device. They are kept in this browser's local storage and written into the files you download — there is no account, no server and nothing to delete elsewhere.

On distances. Routes are great circles between country centres, not flight plans, so the total is an honest approximation rather than the mileage on your boarding passes.

On order. The reel flies the list top to bottom. Dates place a trip automatically until you rearrange by hand, and Sort by date puts everything back. Partial dates are fine — 2019 counts as the start of that year. Add a return home between trips and it is flown but never counted as a visit.
