A typing test that works out why you are slow, not just how fast: it classifies every error, times every pair of keys, and builds practice around the ones costing you most.
Five characters count as one word. Net WPM counts only the characters of words you typed exactly right, plus the space after each, divided by five and by the minutes elapsed. Raw WPM counts every keystroke. The timer starts on your first key.
Correct keystrokes divided by all the keystrokes that count, including spaces between words. A mistake you backspaced and fixed still counts, because accuracy measures your typing rather than the final text.
Work on the specific motions that slow you down. Typewright times every pair of keys you type in sequence, ignoring pauses and errors, and names the costliest. A drill of real words then practises them, bringing them back on a spaced-repetition schedule.
